Esther was born on December 13th, 2013. In October 2013, while at an ultrasound check-up her parents were told that she had a 50/50 diagnosis of 2 congenital heart defects: truncus arteriosis OR double outlet off the right ventricle, and she for certain has a VSD (Ventricle Septal Defect, hole in the heart between the right and left ventricle). In December when Esther was born, she was diagnosed with Double outlet right ventricle, pulmonary stenosis, tetralogy of fallot, ventricle septal defect, Agenisis of Corpus Collosum, and a bilateral cleft lip and palette. Multiple surgeries will be need to correct these birth defects. She has battled with A-tach and bowel obstructions and other abdominal issues like necrotizing enterocolitis . She has had to have blood transfusions and feeding tubes, and has had one open heart surgery so far. She still has a long road to go, but she is a fighter and shows her family daily that she is a warrior. She is going to need a lot of love and a bit more help than most babies, but she is a Warrior Queen and she will conquer.

As a result of Esther's health problems, her mother has taken off work indefinitely so that she may be with her daughter during these hard times. Her father works 2 jobs to help make ends meet, but the family is still struggling to keep their home and car. Support for this family is greatly needed.
